With great happiness I want to say: my book “The Red Hot Chili Peppers 1983-1990: EMI Years” is out now. Although I wrote it in 4 months, it took me over 20 years to collect the info in total. I wrote it with great love & hope some of you will find it worth your attention

Showing the people mentioned in the book parts of it is really weird. For sure it’s good everyone is happy that they or their relatives are not described in a negative way, but it’s still a long & hard process to correct the facts they need to see corrected. But it’s still great

Rest in peace Karyn Balzary. Wonderful person. We used to talk a couple of times and she was very kind. Karyn & Flea sometime in 1993. Biggest condolences to Michael & Gavin

It has some Fela vibes which is brilliant and so different to most others big modern artists. Huge rock stars usually lose their sparkle but here is literally the same vibe as in early 80s videos

July 1991, photo by Jason Beck around the time the band finished BSSM sessions. July-August 1991 was full of photo sessions (Brad Fierce, Sandra Johnson, Robert Matheu, Mark Leialoha, Chris Cuffaro, Mike Hashimoto etc), not sure if the band ever posed so often before Summer’91.
