Ended 5th/3132 in Houston. Deck felt great and elgyem + nighttime mine made it so I didn't drop a set into pult. S/o to @PiplupHenry for testing, same 60ing and putting us on the combo night before the event. So cool to make my first top 8 in a reg as a first year master.

Can't understate how important physical practice is. It's one thing to know what to do strategically, but it's another to actually do it. Locals every week up to Lille regionals is my plan to shake off the rust

Mega Evolutions thoughts 1. The mega evolutions in this set are mostly terrible. Don't worry about 3 prize Pokémon taking over.... for now 2. Lilles is one of the best cards ever printed. 3. Mystery Garden is bad in Gardy. 4. Solrock + Lunatone is an awesome concept, and I expect multiple decks to use it. This is a fun and enjoyable set. I have thoroughly enjoyed playing with the new cards. Plenty to explore :D

There were very few easy rounds in this tournament. I had to work extremely hard for a Top 32 finish in Baltimore! Drop questions in the comments - I'll answer them in a YT video later this week. In the peaks and the valleys, God is always good🙏
