Both MoS and Superman 25 are comic inspired, Both are from different eras Man of Steel MoS is emotionally disturbed, has identity crises, questioning “is the world saving”he is fighting his own demons. He is ok to let 1000s of people die, It’s like he is reacting, it’s his first day at the job. He has a fear of exposure. “Maybe let the people die to protect the secret” Is inspired by “The Dark Knight Returns” “superman Earth One” Post 80s despite being the biggest fan of Henry Cavill, I have to be honest and say MoS is dark, depressing but connected to the comics. So I love it. Now Superman 25 He is emotionally stable, controlled, have clarity, is more approachable, people have accepted him, he is all about hope and saving the humanity. Hence the lighter tone.. Inspired by All Star Superman Classic Silver Age comics “pre 80s” Both have their own pros and cons. Yes for some strange reasons while emotionally getting matured and stable with time the superman became leaner, cuter and younger 😂 (But hey who can outshine Henry cavill anyways) You just have to watch both in relevance to the comics and the eras they are inspired from.
