This year, May Day will take place on Friday, May 1, at 5 PM. We will be hosting a food and cultural event in Christie Pits Park with free barbecue food, tabling, a fire pit, and more! Hope to see you there!

Join the LMDC on Wednesday April 15, 5:30 - 8:30 PM for a free screening of ‘Harlan County USA (1976)’ and an art build for this year’s International Workers’ Day rally. This will take place at Workers’ Action Centre which is 720 Spadina Ave., 2nd floor, Suite 223.

We are outraged but not surprised to learn that Smalls, the only Black person on board, was subjected to more brutality than the others.

May Day 2025 is our sixth annual rally... and the sixth one backed by Local 4400. They were the first union to support the LMDC when we formed back in 2020. Their solidarity over the years comes much appreciated. Looking forward to seeing you comrades at the rally!
