You said earlier that future potential of the unborn can't dictate value, so the fetus eventually becoming a child means nothing at all. The mother wanting the fetus doesn't magically change its value.

They don't have any past experience and therefore lack value, so why would the host (mother) even want the parasite leeaching off? They're nothing more than blobs of goo and have no rights.

Let's also throw in that they will lose all of their past memories, but still experience the present when they awake.

A braindead patient who will have no future experiences is okay to kill, and so is fetus that has no past or present experiences.

If your answer is no, then what about the past makes someone a person, since the past already happened and is gone forever?

The pro-choice argument is about bodily autonomy,no one has the right to use someone else's body without consent. Comparing that to racism (which harms actual, existing people) isn't really equivalen

@ALongHardDay @ZELLKLUMPEN My point is that dependency does not disqualify personhood no matter the context. There are homeless people who would starve to death if not for the generosity of others. A much better example is that one year olds are 100% dependent on their parents or caregivers for everything.

@ALongHardDay @ZELLKLUMPEN I thought what I was saying was obvious enough that I didn't have to use the word. Organs are not individuals with their own unique DNA but unborn humans do have their own completely unique and separate DNA, making them individuals.
