Supporting Spurs has been an incredible journey. It all began during the era of Modric, Bale, and Van der Vaart—a magical trio known for their flair and attacking football. I vividly remember our famous 3-2 win at Old Trafford in 2012, when Bale cut through the midfield and scored. That match cemented my passion for the club. The India Spurs community (@indiaspursofficial) has been instrumental in shaping my experience as a fan. Formed over a decade ago, it brings Spurs supporters together across India, fostering a sense of unity. Being an admin in this close-knit community has been immensely rewarding, allowing me to contribute to the next generation of fans. I first joined the Kolkata Spurs community in 2011-12, and although I stepped away during my time overseas, I reconnected in 2019. Since then, I've helped organize screenings and played a role in obtaining Official Supporters Club status. Today, we have 15 recognized chapters across India. In 2021, we celebrated the "10-Year Legacy of India Spurs," launched merchandise, and organized special experiences, such as a video call with Gareth Bale and hosting Ledley King and Ossie Ardiles in India. We've even helped members secure tickets for home games. Mayank Periwal is a proud Spurs fan from Kolkata 🤍
