Just because many people are buying ₹20–22 lakh SUVs doesn't mean there aren't good cars at lower prices. I'm seeing many families using this exact comparison to pressure one another into buying such cars. Think logically. Others may have bought them because they can comfortably afford them. You don't have to make financial decisions based on someone else's purchases.

Just now in the presence of Union Ministers Sh. JP Nadda, Dr. Jitendra Singh and the senior leaders of Apex Body of Leh Ladakh I finally broke my fast after 26 days. Earlier 65 members of parliament from different political parties had visited or signed letters urging me to break the fast. This was done after long negotiations on various conditions and in view of possible violence in the country. I will explain the conditions in detail in a separate video very soon. Year 2013. I was working as a mobile app developer and had already won two consecutive Nokia Developer Champion awards. Back then, it was a recognition given by Nokia to active developers in its developer community. As a reward, we used to receive the latest Nokia smartphone, a certificate, and a few other goodies. One day, I received an email from the head of the Nokia Developer Program. He wrote that Nokia, in collaboration with NDTV India, was going to host a TV show on NDTV Live based on mobile app ideas. Developers and aspiring innovators from across India could submit their app ideas. The top 10 ideas would be groomed further, with each creator being mentored by a Nokia Developer Champion. He asked if I would like to mentor one of the top 10 finalists. I immediately said yes. Over the next few weeks, we received updates about the program. The ideas were shortlisted from hundreds of submissions to the top 100, and finally to the top 10. Ten Nokia Developer Champions were assigned as mentors, one for each finalist. I was paired with a 13-year-old boy from Allahabad. A UX designer from Microsoft was also assigned to every team—one designer, one mentor, and one idea. Soon, we received the schedule for the TV shoot. It was a three-day event in Delhi NCR. All the top 10 participants and Nokia Developer Champions were provided with flight tickets and hotel accommodation. Since I was already living in Delhi, I didn't opt for either. On the first day, we gathered at a beautiful bungalow in a posh colony in South Delhi. I met fellow Nokia Developer Champions from different parts of India, the top 10 finalists, and their families. It was an overwhelming experience. We were briefed about the format of the show. Rajeev Makhani from NDTV arrived and interacted with all of us. His team asked every participant to prepare around five minutes of material about their app. During the actual show, each candidate would get about a minute to present, while each mentor would get around ten seconds to speak about the idea. The first day was mostly about preparation. The next day, we returned to the same bungalow for the pre-recorded interviews. A lady anchor interviewed us, asked a few questions, and everything was recorded. Later, we headed to Film City in Noida. It was my first visit to a professional TV studio. There were huge sets, lights, makeup rooms, costumes, artists, and an entire production crew. It all felt surreal. After waiting for an hour or two, the judges started arriving. Rajeev Makhani was the host. The judging panel included Vishal Gondal, Raj Chinai, and my all-time favorite, Vikas Khanna. When Vikas Khanna entered through the main gate, I happened to be standing nearby, talking to a friend on the phone because I was getting bored. The moment I saw him, I was completely awestruck. We looked at each other, exchanged smiles and greetings, and that alone made my day. The judges then went to their rooms to get ready while we waited for the chief guest—Priyanka Chopra. She arrived a little late, and by then we had already taken our seats. The cameras, lights, and everything else were ready. The moment she walked into the studio, the entire place went silent. Everyone was simply looking at her. She carried herself with incredible confidence, elegance, and grace. Tall, beautiful, and stylish—it was impossible not to notice her. She came surrounded by a few bodyguards. Not even a bird was allowed to go near her. We were simply enjoying the moment and admiring her, of course. The shooting began. One by one, all ten finalists presented their app ideas. Their designs were showcased, followed by a short Q&A session where the judges asked questions. After all the presentations, the judges discussed among themselves for about five minutes before announcing the results. Nikita Kaul won the competition. My mentee was declared the first runner-up. The top three winners were invited on stage for photographs with the judges and Priyanka Chopra. By the way, Shah Rukh Khan was also associated with the show, but he appeared remotely. After a quick photo session, Priyanka left. The rest of us spent about an hour celebrating and clicking pictures with everyone, including the judges. A couple of days later, the episode was telecast on NDTV Live. I had already informed my family, friends, and office colleagues about it. After the broadcast, I received continuous calls and messages congratulating me. The next day, even the CEO of my company came to my desk to congratulate me.
