When determining which microcaps are holdable in a market like this, I have three criteria. 1) Funding - This is more important than anything else. The main reason most microcaps rug is that the dev team runs out of money and motivation. The cheat code is checking for serious VC and investor backing. Many people dislike VCs in microcaps because they are looking for retail exit liquidity. But at sub $5M market cap, the price is probably around the VC entry price and there is simply not enough liquidity for them to exit. They have to pump the price up first. That is the advantage. On top of that, funded projects have marketing budgets, which means they almost always front-run the unfunded degen projects. 2) Narrative - This is very overlooked. Projects building real infrastructure are worth holding long term. Projects with basic applications can be replaced overnight with vibe coding. Infrastructure cannot. Building real crypto infrastructure is like selling shovels to gold miners. Harder to build, requires genuine expertise and long term dedication. I only care about the AI narrative here. Everything else, privacy, L1/L2, RWA, is noise and should be avoided, in my opinion. 3) The Team - The team needs to actually be able to build something. Preferably a senior developer. I see too many ambitious early 20s devs, and I respect the effort, but the execution rate is near zero.

$QF mainnet launch is tomorrow and I am expecting a lot from this team the upcoming couple of months. A slow cooker, like $QF always has been. The upcoming few months I expect the team to work on: - Adoption - Releasing their own dapps on the chain - Networking. + more. Basically like $SOL. $SOL was on the bottom, with 0 interest and all of a sudden it did a 200x from bottom. $QF is next up 🤝

Been a while since I aped ethereum utility tokens, started positioning myself into $QF rn, currently ~13M 👑 Will DCA if we go lower, but it's pretty cheap for a project building the most innovative blockchain. It's a long project since 2024 and the doxxed devs been building forever since then. Its made to remove the technical limits that make current dApps slow, expensive and hard to use. It focuses on fast block times, high transaction capacity and support for realtime applications. The mainnet is LIVE in 2 days. It's only the beginning of what they are building... Stacked roadmap with: ⁃ Multiple CEX listings ⁃ Staking activations ⁃ Bridge launch and more... There has never been a better time for ETH on-chain to thrive, given the market conditions and the state of the competitors. SOL on-chain is becoming worse, and even long-term traders are tired of maximum extraction. Every day, we see 8-9 figure market cap projects rug-pulling, and investors lose all interest. BASE onchain, on the other hand, seems completely lost. They get near zero support from the coinbase, and the BASE team seems completely lost in track after Jesse took over and ruined the BASE on-chain with his stupid ideas, such as creator coins. On the other hand, ETH on-chain looks better and better than others day by day. Vitalik looks like back pushing ETH on-chain and directing builders into different narratives to build. Also, after the final updates, ETH on-chain transaction fees went lower than 0.1$ and the speed is significantly increased. IMO, there are no big reasons to build any other L1s or L2 protocols considering the current state of the ETH. There are a bunch of valuable ETH on-chain gems too, such as $COR | @cortensor that builds decentralized AI inference, or $BERRY | that is cooking a DeFAI powerhouse. I think the time is approaching for ETH onchain season.

There is a big hype around x402, but does it really generate meaningful revenue for projects yet? x402 is a payment rail for agents. Every request is paid per call, with tiny fees of around $0.001. Looking at the last 30 days, the whole ecosystem processed around 57 million transactions. It means total monthly revenue is around $57k. More than half of that already goes to the top infrastructure facilitator, Coinbase. So there is no big market for other participants, at least for now. This is why it is important to be cautious when talking about x402 because it is not a self-sufficient source of income to support projects in terms of revenue. Not yet, and not in the near future. There is still a long road before this becomes a serious cash engine. So be careful gambling with crypto coins solely from this narrative.

🛠️ DevLog – Sneak Peek: Testnet Phase #2 Focus We've started shaping Testnet Phase #2 – Validation Refinement & Infrastructure Hardening. This is an overview only – the detailed Phase #2 doc will be drafted over the next ~2 weeks, before Phase #2 begins. 🔹 What Phase #2 Is About - Focused on strengthening validation (PoI/PoUW), redundancy, and infra robustness, rather than adding new surfaces. - Goal: make the trust layer accurate, stable, and cost-aware so it’s ready to plug into Corgent + agent ecosystems. 🔹 Key Focus Areas - Validator v2/v3 refinement – deeper PoI (quantitative) + PoUW (qualitative) calibration using expanded stats/datasets. - Infra reliability – router APIs, indexers, dashboard feeds, and oracle-style services hardened for long-running traffic. - Redundancy & failover – more RPC endpoints, backups, and recovery paths. - Gas & runtime tuning on L2 – optimize SessionQueue/SessionPayment/Validator paths, logs, and storage layout. - Validator on lighter hardware – experiment with Ollama-based embedding models so more validator work can run on CPU (not only GPU). 🔹 Where This Lives - Structured plan (Phase #2 section): docs.cortensor.network/community-and-… This is just the high-level direction; a dedicated Testnet Phase #2 doc with concrete tasks, rewards, and timelines will follow once it’s fully written up. #Cortensor #Testnet #AI #DePIN #Validators
Cortensor@cortensor

🧪 Testnet Phase #1 Recap – Integration, Load, and Engine Expansion Phase #1 was the first structured #Testnet week where we focused on one thing: break the pipeline, harden the pipeline, and prove the system scales under real usage across both Testnet-0 (#Arbitrum #Sepolia) and Testnet-1 (COR #L3). 🔹 Incentivized Manual Testing (E2E + Payments) - Daily manual testing by community testers across different models and task types - End-to-end validation: routing → miner execution → validator checks → results - Exercised both Pay-to-Use (pay per task) and Stake-to-Use (stake-based access / rate-limits) - General stress-testing across components to surface edge cases early 🔹 Automated Load Testing – 130K+ Tasks Executed - Automated task jobs ran continuously during Phase #1 - 130,000+ tasks executed, validating stability and throughput under sustained traffic 🔹 Dashboard UI Refinement - Multiple rounds of UI polish across session/task views - Improved navigation and usability during high-volume sessions 🔹 #Ollama Engine Support + 65+ Models Live - Added #Ollama LLM engine support across Testnet-0 and Testnet-1 - 65+ models are now supported (Q1 target: 100+) - Current limitation is disk footprint: nodes need many models stored to serve on request - Next up: network-driven model auto-assignment + model-usage-aware routing - Also added additional embedding models via Ollama to support Validator v2/v3 tuning, since the current embedding stack shows GPU-specific issues on some setups 🔹 SessionQueue Scaling – Read Throughput & Pagination - Phase #1 load exposed a read bottleneck at high task volumes - Added missing foundations: precomputed task stats per session + scalable pagination - Dashboard + Router can now handle large query/read workloads under single sessions 🔹 Corgent Experimental – /delegate + /validate - First iterations to validate rough E2E behavior and clarify exact requirements - Established what needs to be strict vs flexible for agent-facing flows 🔹 Router Experiments: #MCP + #x402 + #ERC8004 - #MCP, #x402 and #ERC8004 components are functional inside Router Node today - Still require refinement and full integration - These will be re-iterated during Phase #3#4 to land as router-native primitives 🔹 Roadmap 2026 Docs Ready (Cortensor Network + Corgent) - Roadmap documentation is now published and aligned for 2026 planning Phase #1 proved the pipeline can survive both real usage and sustained automated load. Next phases will build on this foundation toward SLA-driven routing, tighter payment flows, and deeper agentic integrations. #Cortensor #AI #DePIN #Testnet #DevUpdate #MCP #x402 #ERC8004 #Virtual #Agentic #Base
