@GlosGroundhop If we fast forward to this summer how many clubs will NOT be looking at how they can be promoted or at least challenge. I think it’s only two of bottom four who survive and Accrington.

I do actually think that this league needs an extra relegation spot. A lot of the teams in league two bottom half are operating on the ‘let’s hope there’s two worse teams than us’ approach

@GlosGroundhop But which clubs? Crawley and Barrow are both spending well beyond their means to stay in this league. Harrogate have done the same for years. Allowing in FGR and Carlisle just because they have sugar daddies isn’t sustainable either.

@richardjgrey @MarkHalliwell1 I would like to think we could afford him now with the new ownership. There are still bigger more affluent clubs, especially in league one though.

@GabSutton @EFL Good game between #ctfc and Notts with very little between us for 70 mins, disappointed with the last 20, a very good goal but soft defending and a referee mistake giving an incorrect red gave the score a different look to what was a tight game for most part.

@JohnnyR55380733 @MarkHalliwell1 I appreciate it’s only a loan until the end of the season and different to committing to a 2-3 year deal but we are apparently paying his full wages now Rob. Hopefully it counts for a lot how happy and loved he is here vs chasing more money elsewhere.

ok we’re going on a european cruise but wanna spend a few days somewhere else before….should we stay in rome, france, amsterdam, bologna, or venice!? or any other suggestions that would be good for 3/4 nights?

@lorenshleby Depends who you are with and your interests. Venice is truly unique but you only need a couple or nights there. Amsterdam more lively and modern but not a wealth of things beyond coffee shops and red light area. Paris and Rome loads of history and great food.

@Rosstipha @PunditSid Started slowly but yes he’s been impressive the past few games with his hold up play and work rate. If he continues we will likely sign him in the summer I would think.

The squad i can see being potentially gutted, there's a reason when just before MG came in players were given 1 year contracts. Cotterill has done well with what Flynn had but we need a revamp otherwise I see us sitting 16th-12th. But I dont know what MG ambitions are #ctfc

@PunditSid Davison is out of contract at Tranmere but is rumoured to be one of their biggest wages so that could be an issue. No inside knowledge but I have a feeling we could afford him and Davison now with the new ownership when a year ago that clearly would not happen.

@mayhem357_mark Sherring and Hutchinson Im not sure wed be able to afford come the summer. (Although I dont know what Sherring contract situation is) Stevenson and Tomkinson i can see us extending. Davison is interesting. Would like him, be interesting if its a May situation and we pay peanuts

Question for the statos on here, where current EFL or national league side have #ctfc played the most competitive matches against since we first entered the EFL? League and cup matches count. My initial thoughts were, Northampton or Crewe? Any one have stats??
