I am keeping a close eye on the Kansas Legislature as it redraws Congressional and Legislative districts. Drawing Congressional lines which tear apart our community is unacceptable. It will affect the future of Wyandotte County for the next 10 years.

Thank you Leavenworth Road Association for allowing candidates to speak to your membership. My two minutes were used to shed light on a very small portion of my platform. The positive interaction was both valued and appreciated.

I was glad to support the “Gateway Highsteppers” Drill Team event at Quindaro Park. Thank you LaVeda Davis for the love you have given over the years to Gateway Highsteppers youth membership. Your leadership in mentoring young people has definitely left a positive footprint.

I was honored to attend the Friend of Yates “Yard Sale” at 13th at Washington Ave, co hosted by “Moms Demand Action” anti-violence group, and the “KC Kiwanis Club”. Poceeds collected support survivors of domestic violence. Positive partnerships make for a better WYCO.
