Republican candidate @mayorbilldieruf voted early at the Jeffersonian last week in JTown, where he’s currently mayor. He spoke about that after casting his ballot: “My job right now is the mayor of JTown. My next job will be the mayor of Louisville.”

Today is the day! Don’t stay home thinking your voice doesn’t matter. Mayoral elections in the past have come down to hundreds of votes or less. Please get out and vote! Our city can’t handle any more failed leadership. Remember: Nothing changes, if nothing ever changes.

It was heartwarming to see the strong group of Team Dieruf members who showed up early Saturday morning outside ELM Catering! A big thank you to the Meyer’s who not only hosted, but distributed signs & t-shirts my whole campaign. Our momentum is over the top! Let’s win this!

@fern45 @RunWithCraig I understand what it means to be a mayor. I have 12 successful years of leadership as a mayor. I’m already working on the issues that affect this city locally & in Frankfort. I have bipartisan support (half my team are Dems). I already know how to get things done in Frankfort.

@RunWithCraig @mayorbilldieruf So I’m completely undecided between you both. Can you each tell me why I should vote for you without insults, being respectful to each other, and just the facts???

@CoachKemp1 @RunWithCraig Ignored problems like smells in the West End have gone on too long. That is why I’m running. So many challenges have been overlooked by the elitists in power. Woke up and stepped outside once again to the odor of burnt/burning chemicals in #westlouisville and still have yet to hear of an action plan from @RunWithCraig or @mayorbilldieruf as to how they will remedy this violation of our human rights!!.. But they want our votes 🙃

I became a mayor the same year as Greg Fischer. In that time, you can see a stark difference between what happened at metro, & what happened in my administration. My opponent will just be more of the same. It’s truly a tale of two cities. Nothing changes, if nothing ever changes.

My latest ad tells the ugly truth about how my opponent’s allegiance goes to the highest bidder. This is not speculation or conjecture. He has a history of working for the elite and prioritizing the wealthy. 2/3

I have run my campaign focusing on my values & what I can do for this city. It has been said, “Winners focus on winning, & losers focus on winners.” I want to win this election based on people thinking I’m the best candidate, not my ability to attack my opponent with lies. 1/3

@Exposed_Comic Part of the problem is that people still feel left out. We merged the city and county 20 years ago but never unified the people. I don’t want anyone in our city to fell left out. That’s unacceptable. The establishment has neglected the South End & West End. I won’t.

@mayorbilldieruf That's excellent to know, The C-J left that out and should have mentioned it. I am sure you have been told how we feel left out in SW Lou. For people like me who had to work and was unable to attend, had no idea. Thanks for the reply, that speaks volumes.

I am reading about how @mayorbilldieruf visited all the small neighborhood festivals. Did either him or @RunWithCraig show up to the Southwest festival for those of us in SW Lou? It seems to me that it's more of the same and no one wants to touch the hard topics.
