This is a personal project very close to my heart. I am developing a Recreational Park and Sport Arena in my hometown, Gaya Local Government in Kano State. The project is a modern community hub that will combine leisure, sports, commerce and social services in one place. The facility will feature a mini stadium for football and basketball, an event centre, a restaurant, a supermarket, shops and a mosque. My vision is to build a space that will serve families, empower young people, support businesses, and become a lasting landmark of pride and progress for the good people of Gaya. Allah ya ba mu ikon kammalawa. Ameen!

@e_ekenem These fake drinks are not imported. They are cooked inside bedrooms and behind buildings across popular markets. If the community watches them thrive and NAFDAC cannot sniff them out, they end up on your table across local joints. They are rarely sold on the open market

This iconic bottle of Don Julio 1942 retails for around ₦500,000 at premium drinks stores in Nigeria. In the clubs? It moves for ₦1.2M in regular spots to ₦2M+ in top Lagos venues. Guess what? Over 2,000 original bottles are purchased on a typical weekend across the country! The fakes probably double these figures. Data is key… Nigeria’s luxury space is underrated!

@akintollgate The 2 examples you gave where are they today?? Asake and portable blew around the same time, olamide blessed both with verses, one went on negative trend, the other remained focus. Negative trend only lasts for a while especially when you have nothing meaningful to offer.

If that young chap posted his shoe on this app, priced it at N200k & begged many of you for a repost, you won’t engage him. Alas many of you “too big to assist” a young brand are posting his content absolutely FREE! Brand mileage is 100,000 miles. He is a WINNER in my books!

@tobilobaphotog Naaa. It’s always been purely a research project to show that there is no science or logic to variations in crypto value. It has never been about taking “profit.” Right now, I am more interested in seeing whether it would ever get to zero. Happy to wait 10 years.😀

Please help me understand this: when we were on Band A, I used to spend between 150k-200k on electricity, even with my inverter. Later, they downgraded us to Band B and it’s been 2weeks that the 40k limit that I recharged hasn’t finished.

The ability to adapt to whatever the game presents is the reason I’m a big fan of this Arsenal team. It’ll be extremely satisfying if they go on to achieve success. Let me put my position in numbers. Defense Arsenal have kept their opposition offside just 17 times this season. The Premier League’s average rate is over 100 per season. Arsenal won’t near that mark. It shows just how good and proactive their recovery and defending is. Naturally, when you see that, you think they keep a low defensive line. We know they don’t. They have one of the highest defensive lines in the league. They allow very low chances too. Only 7 through balls have beaten Arsenal in the Premier League this season. How they have done this is a mixture of aggressive marking, recovery and choosing structure over chaos. That means except in cases like Zubimendi vs Man Utd, Gabriel vs Bournemouth where they gifted cheap goals to the opposition, they don’t lose the ball easily and it’s hard for the opposition to generate anything against them. Remember the run of games they had without conceding shots on target? What they do is to allow few opposition touches in their defensive third. Arsenal only concede an average of 103 touches per game this season. It’s the lowest in the Premier League. They have a ground duels win rate of 52.1% which is the highest in the league, and probably a good explanation of why they don’t concede chances. They recover in quick time and compete well. Declan Rice leads the charge here. All of these means they have the best defense in the league. They’ve only conceded 17 league goals in 25 games and David Raya has kept 13 clean sheets which is as high as what he kept for the entirety of 24/25 season when he won the Golden Gloves. We all know their set-piece strengths. They’re monsters there, but that’s not all. They force own goals too. That’s not all. They’ve scored the second highest goals in the Premier League this season despite not having any player hit double figures yet. Why? Dynamism. Jurrien Timber plays right-back for Arsenal but he has missed the second highest amount of big chances this season (7) after Gyokeres (8). Timber has missed more big chances than Saka and Trossard (6 each), the two other attacking players who have played alongside Gyokeres the most this season. He also has the fourth highest xG this season of any Arsenal player behind the attacking trio. When the opposition has kept a low block, Arsenal have varied it sometimes. They have scored 8 goals outside the box 18 this season and that’s the third highest in the Premier League this season. Five of those goals gave them the lead. If you keep a low block, they’ll score you from corner kicks or long-range shots. If you are slack, they’ll pump you right in your box. If you want to fight, they are big and not afraid to fight. Lastly, this is a team that now places a premium on experience. Seventy per cent of Arsenal’s spending last summer targeted players between 25 and 28, known to be peak years for footballers. It’s also in a summer they had the highest net spend in transfers. In the previous five seasons before the current one, Arsenal focused 75% of their recruitment spending on players aged between 21 and 24. They’ve built. They’ve consolidated. They’ve waited. Rightly, they should win now and it’ll be the greatest justification of the incredible work the club has done. The race is on.
Rilwan@Real1_balogun

If you watch Arsenal and think they don't play with a lot of dynamism, I don't know what you watch. The amount of rotations they make is crazy. No wonder Timber has expected goals that's almost as high as Gyokeres’.

Personally, the only way to save this country is mandatory quality education till SS3. Anyone that doesn’t want to go to school, let them learn vocation in structured environment You don’t have to pass in flying colors but everyone must have quality education till they’re 15-16. Give Nigeria 2 generations and you will see the actual difference. If you don’t give people quality thinking as foundation, it’s easy for them to be poisoned by just any kind of thoughts.

@PrisciliaAmadi @Communicat0r Etisalat ended because of their lack of infrastructure to cover their network demands in major cities not solely because of this ad. They used cloud network then but didn't have enough cover throughout the country. It was the only active network where I served in 2017 self.

During my masters program (LLM) at the University of Lagos, as a full time student, I took a total of 8 courses (4 in each semester) and my dissertation. Aside earning a 5.00 grade point in my dissertation/project, I scored the highest marks in 6 out of 8 courses; 3rd highest marks in the remaining 2 courses. I really wished I could do better. 🙈 With a mix of humility and pride, as I reflect on this success today, being my graduation day, I dare say that the most daunting task I have undertaken during my journey in pursuit of knowledge is this degree 📜 Whilst running a full time rigorous academic program, I was also running a full service young law firm, trying to find its feet in the industry. This has now made me hungry for more knowledge and determination to pursue further education at the doctorate level, in no distant future, as I believe I still a lot more to learn and give to scholarship. I am eternally grateful to God who made it possible and successful; as my efforts alone wouldn’t have it happen. I pray that He blesses this new milestone with abundance of grace as He has always done in the last decade. Special thanks to my family, and the entire members of staff of Muhammed Adam & Associates, as well as every member of class of 2024/2025, for their supports and cooperation during my journey. To my lecturers, thank you for your patience, knowledge and openness. It is my prayer that God continues to bless your work beyond your efforts. Muhammed Adam, LLB, BL and LLM.

@OluyeluAjibola @Ifreke Why are they getting injured? Even as an arm chair critic, we all know Calafiori can’t play 2 games. You try to force it, he gets injured, then you play MLS (whom you could hv just played). His pragmatism is affecting the team, it’s not the players, it’s him

@Ifreke It's easier to criticise than understanding the scope of things. Some of these guys have been off position largely due to injuries. Take a look at Rice today playing right back and Calafiori playing Central back against Crystal Palace. Won both games.

When I was in school, “I’ll report you to your teacher” was enough to reset your entire behavior. Today, some students boldly tell their teachers, “I’ll report YOU to my parents.” Something has shifted in our society, and it’s showing everywhere. Today, many parents attack teachers for correcting their children. We’re raising a generation that fears nothing and respects no one.
