@TastefulOmen I AM INDEED A DUMB BITCH I SAW IT NOW

In Wet Sand, there is absolutely nothing stopping YW from being with Jo other than the fact he doesn’t want to do it since he’s in love with TJ. Likewise Jo never wanted to actually understand YW on a deeper level. This isn’t Star Crossed Lovers this is Jo getting dumped ☠️ +

The Worst Crime: Fabricated Lines That Never Existed The translator arbitrarily added "I loved you" — a line that does NOT exist in the Korean original. This single sentence completely distorts the character's feelings and the official pairing of the story. The publisher acknowledged the fact, but still refused to make any corrections. This is not translation. This is forgery and deception. 最惡劣的罪行:杜撰根本不存在的台詞 譯者楊慧瑜擅自添加「我愛過你」——這句話在韓文原文中根本不存在。 僅這一句,就徹底扭曲了角色情感與作品官方官配。 出版社承認了事實,卻依舊拒不修正。 這不是翻譯,這是偽造與欺騙。 #WETSAND

Full-Scale Destruction: Reversed Meanings Across the Entire Comic Kind intimate words were turned into vicious insults. Harsh angry words were twisted into fake affection. The translator imposed their personal preference wantonly, turning a professional translation into their own biased fan fiction. #WETSAND 全面摧毀:整本漫畫的語義被肆意顛倒 親昵溫柔的話,被改成惡毒的辱罵; 憤怒嚴厲的話,被扭曲成虛假的溫情。 譯者肆意摻雜個人偏好, 把專業翻譯變成了帶偏見的個人同人。 @pinsin_books

The Most Disgusting Tampering: Fear Translated Into Sexual Suggestion Original text: A shudder of fear and creepiness. Wrong Chinese translation: A tingly, sexually suggestive feeling. They twisted the character's fear into inappropriate hints. This is the most direct proof of malicious intent. #WETSAND @pinsin_books 最惡心的篡改:將恐懼翻譯成性暗示 韓文原文:因恐懼感到毛骨悚然、發抖。 錯誤中譯:愉悅的、帶性暗示的酥麻感。 他們把角色的恐懼,扭曲成低俗的不當暗示。 這是惡意最直接的證明。

Its purely a translation error. YW never said the word 'loved' in Kor; it was completely added out of thin air. I emailed them but the Taiwanese translation team insisted it 'flows better.' Yes, they literally add 'I loved u' for the sake of fluency n refuse to change. #WetSand

"If I could... I wanted to keep doing that." = I love you but staying with you will only bring you harm, so I'm going away to let you be safe.

That is why their love story is so beautiful and heart wrenching. They didn't let go of each other because there wasn't love, but because they both loved and treasured each other so much and knew it was best to let each other go. Selfless love like theirs is special and lasting, much like how Ian still sees Jo's eyes in the night sky, and Jo having lingering thoughts when visiting his aunt, wishing for Ian's happiness 😊

@mayyourdayy Honestly, both things could be true at the same time. The earrings mean so much to YW and everything that transpired made YW take off the earrings and necklace, but once he healed and rekindled his love with TJ, he was ready to put them back on.
