I don’t understand the hype behind the new God of War games. They are so repetitive. Only two weapons, recycled enemies and an insanely boring open world where you gotta row to the ends of a giant lake. The two redeeming qualities was the writing and story.

@Zydiko Those had magic. And a lot of interesting bosses, insane locations and KRATOS COULD JUMP. Plus he felt way more powerful.

@mazyleaves The first game in the franchise only has two weapons (never mind the fact that this isn’t even an inherently bad thing), and all enemies in all games with enemies are recycled. This is why I can’t take people seriously who criticize these games.

@Back2Foulke @TheRoseCompany I used to think the same but playing it on death March changed my opinion. It requires you to strategically use potions spells etc. But the RPG elements and lore elevate it for sure

@TheRoseCompany Yep but I find no reason to replay this game because there’s really just a couple of ways to play it. Compared to many other titles such as Cyberpunk, Elden Ring, Witcher and KCD (insane RPG elements)
