Sloths also have a poor ability to keep their internal body temperature, and need to live in warm environments. They highly depend on the Neotropical forests being preserved and well connected, and cannot escape if there is fire or trees are put down.

October 20th is the International Sloth Day! 🦥🦥🦥 Here are some curiosities about these amazing creatures who only exist in the Neotropics. 🌞🌴🌦️ There are two genera of living sloths: Bradypus (three-toed) and Choloepus (two-toed) The two genera are 30 million years apart!
