A major update has arrived for the OPPO Find X9 Ultra. It seems to address many of the issues that have been raised. Don't let them off the hooks yet.

@evgeny_makarov7 I have both, unfortunately this year the leap didn't happen, the Ultra isn't worth all that extra money, in some situations the Pro is even better, not to mention the battery, Chinese models obviously.

@2Megapixels_YT @ISAQUES81 Vivo is much better, 10x of the Oppo is nice but it is not a great sensor, if you push above 30x with the latest update Vivo has more detail especially at night, sometimes wrong or artificial but much more detailed and sharp Oppo is more faded

@ISAQUES81 you can use 25/50 or 200 in vivo also :D and btw, oppo was using 25mp resolution and vivo was 12,5mpx i think, not 25used

@ayansonunigam Because up to 10x Vivo does better, 10x optical does better Oppo, but we need to see if 30-50x the optical of the Oppo which is not a super sensor reaches the sharpness of the Vivo sensor for example on writings, in theory yes, in practice it remains to be seen

Seems tech twitter you can no longer say a bad word about oppo FFS guys yes a jn5 is ok for 10x optical i never said it wasn't but the hype train was incredible big people expected to much and at the end of the day other then promo shots it seems to perform as expected from jn5

@mb108412 @ISAQUES81 It's probably on a new update I've noticed china version always ends up being better but it's always several updates ahead so makes sense

Oppo Find X9 Ultra has a 10x zoom shot here that's better than the Xiaomi 17 Ultra and the Vivo X300 Ultra?

@ISAQUES81 In the global version, Vivo outperforms Oppo in zoom in all cases. On the Chinese version, Oppo does better than Vivo with high zoom sometimes, very strange, the only thing I thought was that the Chinese one is better optimized at this point.

@mb108412 I haven't been able to finish watching both of them... so far, I've found the colors to be better in the global version, in terms of naturalness, but I'll check out the zoom... thanks for the tip!
