Wow, Tavares is out at Stellantis, the #3 largest automaker globally! Stellantis CEO won't get a contract extension. "Stellantis said on Monday it has begun a search for a candidate to succeed CEO Carlos Tavares, whose contract is set to expire in 2026." This was highly predictable. Stellantis has been the fastest market share loser amongst all large automakers. Despite it's large size, under Tavares' leadership Stellantis became only a #6 largest EV seller.

@BenPaulos @MLiebreich It's true. If you ignore cost, reliability, climate change and alternatives, and only focus on the tailpipe, hydrogen is very appealing. Oil & gas firms often support little league soccer, in the same vein.

@MLiebreich @mbarnardca At least there is no combustion and therefore no NOx, which is a major environmental justice concern in Stockton. We have had fuel-cell transit buses operating here in the east Bay for a decade, not on green hydrogen.

How utterly absurd. Making hydrogen from natural gas, without capturing CO2, and pretending it's clean. Do these pimpleheads not understand, they could just use fossil CNG directly and it would cause fewer emissions (or require buying fewer RNG credits). heatmap.news/economy/hydrog…
