@s_anastasov 💯 It makes sense to me too, to include them in other tests. Assuming they're fast, easy to create and deterministic. In our project typically *every* dependency gets replaced via test double. But I want to discover more of these sociable tests in our Android project.

@mberkaymutlu Simple O(1) complexity no test, but use the real thing in the unit tests of the class that uses it. More complex: write tests for the edge cases

Do you write tests for your simple mapper classes or do you skip them thinking they won't have a bug in the future because they're simple mappers? What's your take on this?

@CatalinGhita4 I recommend checking out the book Software Engineering at Google. It has a few chapters on testing. Here is my highlight on this topic:

@CatalinGhita4 I prefer using social tests (that focus on behavior instead of class) because changes in production code affect these tests less. This helps with refactoring since the tests only change when the behavior changes.

@manuelvicnt I use Dagger only for instrumented tests. For my unit/integration tests I create the dependencies (which are only a few, usually) by hand. However if there would be a low-impact solution from Dagger I would consider using it also for unit/integration tests.
