@ElizabethForNV @ScottPresler Every state should not allow party switching within weeks or a month of any election. If you switch once you can’t switch back. Also they should not allow open primaries where one party can vote in another party’s primary to swing the outcome. All the nonsense needs to stop

@ScottPresler If a party is selecting its nominee, registered members of that party should make that decision. Closed primaries strengthen accountability and reduce outside influence in the nomination process.

Every state legislature should be working to close its primaries. Notice what happened as soon as Louisiana changed its primaries — Senator Cassidy lost on the first round. CC: Texas
