People were far busier ploughing fields, getting water from wells, doing hard manual labour that was a prerequisite to basic survival. Humans were never meant to be this physically inactive, this mentally overstimulated, socially isolated, exposed to this scale of bad news, and this devoid of meaning in their everyday lives.

VERY unpopular opinion humans were never meant to be this busy that’s why everybody is anxious and depressed.

I'm starting to think most people don't actually want advice they just want someone to validate their emotions while they continue to do whatever they were going to do anyway
