Without Islam, Christianity dies. This argument collapses once you separate the categories properly. In Qur'an 2:85, the criticism is against people who accept a scripture as fully from God like the Torah and then deliberately pick and choose what to follow,that’s inconsistency. Muslims are not doing that. The Muslim position is that earlier scriptures were originally from God but not fully preserved in their current form, so they are evaluated using the Qur’an as the final criterion. That’s not “believing in parts,” it’s questioning the integrity of the source itself. Logically, rejecting parts of a book you believe is 100% divine is contradictory,but filtering a text you believe has been altered is completely consistent.

Muslims despise the Quran. Almost every Muslim will tell you "the Quran confirms PARTS of your scriptures, not all of it". Allah in Surah 2:85 says the Jews at Muhammad's time will go to Hell if they only believe in PARTS of their Torah and not all of it.
