@allinkid Didn’t the eagles have a bottom 10 total offense ranking in 2025 (compared to Buffalo’s top 5) despite Philly having a vastly superior supporting cast ( WR, RB and OL all look better in Philly)? If the QB wasn’t an issue in Philly last year, what do you think the problem was?

@datadomNY Little difference this season but I think better long term with Darche. He’s younger and more likely willing to learn from the deadline mistakes this year. Also, his cleaning up the mess in BPT was a good sign.

Had Lamoriello won the power struggle over Roy at the end of last season and replaced him with DeBoer before this season, are the #Isles better, worse or the same this season? Keep in mind they still win the lottery and draft Schaefer with or without Darche.

@ralphDrussoATH Do you really think baseball and NBA better off with everyone knowing all the salaries? Everyone’s performance is analyzed via that lenz. It might be inevitable, but I’d prefer not to have that type of visibility into what student athletes are making.

I think of $ and college sports through the lens of my fandom. I root for the Mets. My interest in what Juan Soto and Nolan McLean make is totally wrapped up in how it impacts who else is and could be on the team and they manage the roster over the next 10 years.

I think there is some truth to this. And I don't really care about the individual how much. But roster building and $ are directly tied together. Money is a huge determining factor on who plays where. So if you're watching your team thinking, why don't we have a better CBs ..?

@domluszczyszyn Would be great to see these include some type of “strength factor” for these teams too. Some Isles have nearly 7X more chance to make the playoffs but less likely to win the cup then the Caps. Must be a gigantic gap between the teams driving such an extreme result in the model?
