Next time you have an issue, call me. You don’t need to go telling tales and consuming officer time with tittle-tattle
Cllr Lee Scordis@LScordis

@nickycash @russellquirk Nope, I was abroad and with 9 years experience would not need to attend an opening 'how-to' meeting. I have complained to standards as Mr Quirk has broken several rules here.

Wes Streeting just destroyed his own Labour leadership bid by promising to rejoin the European Union.

A very proud moment for me as I was elected, not just to Essex County Council as a @reformparty_uk councillor last week, but also chosen as the council’s Deputy Leader last night, unopposed. I’m in this to do my bit to change politics and to help bring Britain back from the brink and in doing so set an example to my four children. My grandfather was a highly respected businessman and Essex councillor in the 1960’s and 1970’s also and if he were still around today I hope that he’d agree that I’m upholding the Quirk name in his honour. Onwards…

Jeremy Corbyn’s balanced reflection on Andy Burnham gives us two undeniable truths: ‘Private money in health leads to less care & more profit’ ‘Private money in defence will lead to more wars & more profit’ Why are these truths so hard for politicians to see?

Jeremy Corbyn MP slams Labour: ‘Chances of Labour returning to socialism non existent’ ‘Membership expelled or left’ ‘Policies are weak to put it mildly’ ‘Activism is minuscule’ ‘The Labour Party’s ship has sailed’ Jeremy is spot on Labour is finished.

I hope the Green Party go and win this one just like Gorton and Denton and spank Reform and Labour. Then I hope they take Manchester Mayor as well. We don't need to HOPE other people do something. The Green Party need to do it themselves.
Caroline Lucas@CarolineLucas

I hope this isn’t true. There are times when it’s more important to put country before party. This is one of them. Burnham’s longstanding commitment to a fairer voting system could transform our democracy & counter dire threat of a Reform UK government theguardian.com/politics/2026/…

I’ll always champion peaceful protest. But the Unite the Kingdom march organisers are peddling hatred and division. We’ve already blocked visas for far-right agitators who want to come here to spew their extremist views. They don't speak for the decent, fair, respectful Britain I know.

Since Keir Starmer took power of Labour and won the GE the mask has slipped. Labour have been revealed to be neoliberal centre right politicians using the lexicon of the left. Appointing Burnham as PM would simply be putting the mask back on.

Labour are descending into chaos. And meanwhile the country is not being governed. That’s why the Conservatives set out an Alternative Kings Speech - our fully costed plans to start fixing Britain’s problems and get Britain working again.
Conservatives@Conservatives

There is an alternative to this Labour chaos. A better future where we cut spending, lower taxes and deliver cheaper bills. The @Conservatives team breaks down the Alternative King’s Speech ⬇️

@mcallcott @D_Tarczynski Patriots have been called "racist" for well over a decade for just simply flying our nations flags. We've had enough of it, we will fly our nations flags when ever and wherever to show our patriotism, not to divide but to being together. Open your eyes, there is no far right here

@mcallcott @D_Tarczynski I guess you don't remember taxi drivers being told to not fly the st George's flag - just over a decade ago - because it was deemed racist. Notice I said "is as old as" and "we've had enough". Are you not reading my comments?

@StephenIllston @D_Tarczynski Councils and transport bodies frequently cited potential distractions to other road users, safety risks if the flags fell off, and restrictions on displaying non-official,, commercial, or political material. Flags were allowed for specific sporting events.

@StephenIllston @D_Tarczynski The country is older than all the flags by some 300 years at least . In 2012 many UK taxi drivers were ordered to remove England flags from their vehicles, with authorities citing safety concerns and advertising regulations
