@M_Hadrian_ @wafflecuckballs It would be played for laughs and be written into various situations, not necessarily on scenes discussing race relations, just like early portrayals of asian people in many movies. That’s how actual stereotypes engrained in Hollywood show up in movies.

@M_Hadrian_ @wafflecuckballs If this stereotype that “white peoples are racist” existed in Hollywood (which is already a silly idea giving Hollywood is primarily white), it would appear in portrayals of white people regardless of the plot just like other stereotypes do (+)

@MRSensationial @M_Hadrian_ @wafflecuckballs I’m curious on what you think these “racist acts from black people towards whites” that are supposedly encountered every day are. Preconceptions of whites by black people manifest mostly very mundanely, harmlessly and I can think of many examples of them being portrayed in film

@M_Hadrian_ @wafflecuckballs Except it literally isn’t. Step out of your bubble and look at the actual numbers, the majority of white people just aren’t portrayed as racist. This “stereotype” that you have convinced yourself is prevalent in Hollywood somehow doesn’t reflect itself in 99% of movies

@mcaskov @wafflecuckballs It’s obviously an accepted stereotype in Hollywood, everyone knows this. You can feign ignorance all you want.

@M_Hadrian_ @wafflecuckballs Except this is a completly made up scenario because no functioning brain would come to the conclusion that most portrayals of white people in media are of them being racist

@wafflecuckballs Wrong framing…. They get mad when they’re always portrayed as racists. Hope that helps.

@PoobahTheCat @heroesahead @PopBase What are you talking about, genuinely? Those two scenarios are treated differently under the eyes of the law. That’s a fact and that’s what I’m trying to say. I’m not talking about your personal view of fairness nor mine, I’m talking about what the American law deems as fair.

A man in Alabama is set to be executed this Thursday for a murder he did not commit. Charles Burton was part of a group robbery in which one of his accomplices fatally shot a man in the back, unbeknownst to Burton who had already left the store. (apple.news/AGjqHdybhQTm0z…)

@PoobahTheCat @heroesahead @PopBase They are definitely definitions. The justice system has rules and guidelines. Same guidelines that acknowledge the difference between murdering somebody and assisting a robbery that turned fatal. Those differences have to be taken into account on a trail. Those are facts.

@PoobahTheCat @heroesahead @PopBase Those “definitions” keep our system from being (even more) exploited and blundered. They may not matter to you but you live under those rules as part of the social contract and they keep you and everybody else free. Again, we do not punish for revenge, but for order and peace.

@PoobahTheCat @heroesahead @PopBase The justice system is just and fair exactly because involvement and intent are taken into account. We punish, not for revenge, but for order and security. The nature of how involved you were in the crime corresponds directly with how much time you should be excluded from society

@heroesahead @PopBase No. We don’t punish only based on the outcome. The justice system takes context n intent into account. How estranged from civil society’s values you are, and therefore how much time you should stay away from it, corresponds directly with the nature of the involvement in the crime

@heroesahead @PopBase Equally guilty? Only a failed system would equate pulling the trigger to assisting a robbery that ended up in a murder. By all means, stick him in prison for live but it would be non sensical to pretend killing somebody and being the getaway driver are same

In all civilized countries if you engage in a conspiracy to commit a crime with other co-conspiritors, everyone is guilty of every crime committed So if you're the getaway driver for a bank robbery and your co-conspirators killed someone during the robbery you are equally guilty of that murder People who aren't dumbasses are aware of this

@melbheritagee @dalitorese @transleytanked I find it crazy that there’s people who would go to the dummest of extents and equate killing an actual human life with terminating a pregnancy. There is millions of actual, conscious human who would benefit from your “outrage” and time way more than a clump of cells

@insey_cringe @inar @robermem @VautismSpeaks Not a fan of her necessarily but I think every “not-red pilled” Latino (which is the correct term, not Hispanic) knows what she meant when she said MAGA Latinos have a slave mentality. Also that second quote isn’t even a quote, she didn’t say that and the connection is made up

@inar @robermem @VautismSpeaks She's also racist against Hispanics but none of y'all seem to care about that.. repeatedly saying Latinos have a "slave mentality," saying "we need trump to stop deporting Hispanics because black people should never have to work in the cotton fields again!" She's a racist

@chuck_ebel @TheTNHoller @Ilhan @alisonintheknow She actually answered every single question. If you are not only incapable of seeing how silly the questions were but you’re not even able to see a video and believe what was clearly shown to you, you shouldn’t be engaging in political discourse

@TheTNHoller @Ilhan @alisonintheknow You are praising her running away from questions, as a journalist institution?? Tell us, what kind of questions would you ask? Because, you have zero integrity, dignity or credibility. Omar fucked/married her brother to circumvent the immigration process.

So good, @Ilhan 🏆 🤡 @alisonintheknow: “Are you worried an investigation could lead to your deportation?” OMAR (laughs): “Oh, you’re one of those people.” 🤡: “Are you at all concerned?” OMAR: “Do I look concerned? Do you just ask stupid questions? Is this your thing?”
