Just minutes old……
We feel so overwhelmed right now. So happy to welcome our beautiful girl to the family.
Mum and daughter are doing amazing. Born Tuesday 2nd April 2024, 7lb 3oz and thankfully very healthy.
Baby has been spoilt with cuddles from Junior, Princess, Amelia and Theo who are all in love with their new little sister. As parents, we couldn’t be happier.
Only thing is…. She has no name yet. Help !
Thanks to all the doctors, midwives and staff at Musgrove Park Hospital Taunton. You were incredible. And Emily’s parents, whom I adore. You have both been incredible.
I’m so happy. Just off to hold her. Thanks everyone for reading

Women can really vary with the why they absorb different doses of oestrogen through their skin. This is why women can need different doses. Talking about “unsafe” doses doesn’t make sense.
“These differences in absorption between individuals might also result in therapeutic failures suggested by subjects in this study with only low estradiol levels during the gel, patch or both treatments. This indicates that, in a small number of postmenopausal women, transdermal administration might not be possible or much higher doses might be needed.
The results also provide an explanation why, in a case of poor symptom control or lack of efficacy in other parameters, the estrogen formulation should be changed if an increased dose does not solve the problem.”sciencedirect.com/science/articl…
