Yet conversations in real life are vibrant! Human-the-creator is thriving, energized by the speed of progress and the act of making things. Optimism abounds.

I'm still waiting for the wave of voice-first mobile apps (and earbud apps) to take over the Internet.
Voice on desktop is cool, but we're still facing a generational lag where people have hangups talking at their computer.
Less of an friction issue when talking into a phone.

Voice is the most under-rated modality for human<>AI interaction IMO. In our experience with @SourcetableApp users, quality of AI responses and task completions almost always goes WAY UP when people use voice input. Language models thrive on context.

Voice mode is rolling out now in Claude Code. It’s live for ~5% of users today, and will be ramping through the coming weeks. You'll see a note on the welcome screen once you have access. /voice to toggle it on!
