@DeirdreGiblin1 Funny - I don’t recall ever reading a job spec that suggests a hard & soft skills breakdown. Yet, when teaching prof. practice to my students we discuss it at length as an essential part of their SWOT analysis. Then you also refer to soft skills as competencies. Is it better?

A work related question especially for any HR &/or L&D twitterati: I'm writing a skills report & am looking for a good alternative to a term I can not abide which is 'soft skills'. I see the terms 'people skills' 'human skills' 'performance traits' being used. Any thoughts? 🤷‍♀️
