Unless something or things significantly impact the story. I'd say the Waddle trade and Brown signing significantly impact the story. This is new information, not the same 'ole same 'ole spinning the wheels.

The #Patriots signed free agent DE-turned-LS Niko Lalos following a successful workout, per source.
He last played with the Saints back in 2024, and played his college ball at Dartmouth. Lalos joins Julian Ashby as the long snappers on the roster.

I, for one, would be shocked if the deal isn't done before the draft.
For all the draft reasons, sure.
But, also humanity. We don't wait for anything. If we're impatient as fans, how does AJB feel with his life in the air? Ditto for team building for Howie and Pats.

Everything is now on the table. I’ll hold firm on my prediction that a deal happens before June 1 and before the draft. Makes sense for each side.
