@Fara1 @anthonymamore You are most likely correct, the little guy is going to feel the pain. When you talk about museums deaccessioning, you enter a minefield. Are these paintings going to be sold from institutions (that display to the public) and hidden away in private bedrooms? Start with salaries

@anthonymamore Then help 'em. But it's already clear that the MFAs of the world will be helped instead of having to sell off anything while small operations and individuals will be screwed.

I've seen a lot of people talking about how the arts need a bailout. Of course they do, but not the big institutions. They have major donors, pieces they can sell off, unnecessary salaries to shed. Let 'em rot, support actual artists. But of course that's not what will happen.
