Let’s stop the ChatGPT fear-mongering, my friends. Generative AI isn’t going anywhere, and the technology is only going to get better. Let’s embrace the ways that it can help us work smarter instead of harder.

Of course, I can still use closed-book evaluations where students can't use any tool, but if I would allow them to use Google or Grammarly on an assignment, I don't see any reason not to allow them to use ChatGPT.

ChatGPT fear-mongering seems to have hijacked my feed today. Folks bemoan the impact that this emerging technology will have on the ability of educators to teach, the ability of writers to earn a living, and the difficulty of detecting algorithmic content. #AI #ChatGPT
