. @IcelandFoods - this van, while driving in Southwark, just swerved almost hitting an oncoming car& came very close to me as a pedestrian. Just pulled up to stop on a yellow line on wrong side of road. Driver got out and I was going to say something but they were v aggressive.

Both are total bollocks. These riots are being fueled by underinvestment in poor communities, racism and fear stoked by people who want to pit relatively powerless people against one another. A different way, of building people power to win real change for all, is possible.

Some lefty conspiracists saying we are trying to attack Muslim and minority communities through proxies by whipping up racist hatred. And right wing conspiracists saying that we are the ones driving mass immigration as the architects of the 'great replacement'.

Hate to break it to some antisemitic conspiracy theorists of the left and right (classic antisemitism to be blamed by both sides). But the Jews are not responsible for the UK race riots.

Here is a radical idea to improve the position of care workers in the UK. The government should pay all care workers the #RealLivingWage. That will help to draw new people into this vital area and help retain them.
