What most prospects don’t realize is that once they get to college, it’s an entirely fresh slate. Nobody cares about your metrics, all state awards or how dominant you were in HS anymore. You have to prove yourself through hard work and resiliency all over again. Many are unwilling to dedicate themselves in this way.

This was the team that finally flipped the tide for Coach Smith. Great players who are still key contributors to the program today! Oh & they got royally screwed by the WPIAL. Semi final game in a mud pit at Baldwin against USC, originally supposed to be played at Mt Lebo.

Going through high school footage and found this absolute gem… Steelers safety Mike Logan playing for McKeesport On an early fake punt, he gets a big hit on future Pro Football Hall-of-Famer Jason Taylor, forcing a fumble (at :55 second mark) He also scores 3 TD’s @mlogan31
