Let’s talk about what the Trump Administration wants money for: ~$50 billion for an unauthorized war in Iran that no one wants ~$1 billion for White House Ballroom security funded by taxpayers ~$2 billion to kill offshore wind farms that would have lowered your energy bills ~$13.1 million for a no-bid contract to fix the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool (up from a $6.9 million estimate, nearly doubled overnight to rush it for July 4th) ~$17.4 million to fix two fountains outside the White House (up from a $3.3 million estimate for same fix from 3 years ago) And this is just in the last few months. When they tell you there’s no money for your health care, just know they are flat out lying to you. This is a man who filed for bankruptcy six times. He’s never been careful with money. The difference now is that it’s yours he’s burning through.
