the problem with writing stories w fucked up subject matter is that they have to be airtight otherwise you're just being a freak

@mcmansionhell True but fearlessness is a laudable trait in an aspiring writer. You might out yourself as a freak and suffer some embarrassment, but failing spectacularly means you have no choice but to learn from your mistakes.
