@angelodotsui Also now im remembering the only way I could beat the Ghost Elite 4 woman was with metronome and pray to the RNG gods that i'd win somehow.
English

@angelodotsui I remember as a kid I decided to just level a Clefable and use Strength and Metronome. The latter because thought it was fun to just see what I get. Then I learnt bout that Struggle move when you run out of moves.

@chanceposts sometimes I like to tell myself I'm just gonna keep living to spite my brain having those bad thoughts. Like yeah fuck you too brain I'll keep going anyway.

@NBABabySecret Ive enjoyed baldwins writing a lot but I think I enjoy listening to him talk and discuss more than anything. Recently found this tweet of a convo he had with Maya Angelou.

@Chicago_History @dennisrodman Ill always remind a clip I watched where I believe Isiah Thomas was talking. And he told how he saw how Rodman would pay so much attention to the spin of the ball and when it hit the rim to understand where it would approximately go.

Toni Kukoc Says Dennis Rodman Was the Most Desirable Teammate He Ever Had. He Describes How Rodman Explained His Job to Jordan, Pippen and Kukoc.
Everyone remembers Dennis Rodman for the hair. The tattoos. The rebounds. The chaos.
Toni Kukoc remembers him differently.
"He's amazing, truly one of a kind. As a teammate, he's one of the most desirable you could ever have. His basketball mindset is top-notch — he knew everything about basketball. He gave his all, 100 percent, to the team."
Then Kukoc described the moment he understood exactly who Rodman was:
"I still remember his words, referring to Michael, Scottie, and me: 'They'll score 80, 90 points, so if we play defense and rebound, we'll be in every game.' And he did just that."
That was Rodman's entire philosophy. Delivered in two sentences. Executed perfectly for three championships.
Kukoc added the detail that still doesn't make sense when you think about it:
"For someone his height — just over 6'7" — to grab 16 or 17 rebounds a game, he's probably one of the best rebounders of all time."
Rodman led the league in rebounding seven consecutive seasons. He did it while Jordan and Pippen and Kukoc scored 80 or 90 points every night.
He knew exactly what his job was.
He showed up every single night and did it.

@WebbyPumpkin reminds me I read here on twitter that the D pad was invented by some japanese guy who got inspired by watching salarymen just mindlessly fiddle with their calculators on the train with their fingers.

@_motherslug I'm sorry to hear bout your loss. I'm dealing with something similar too. The smallest images bring me back to this unexplainable grief. Somehow recently it was a box of rice krispies cereal because they used to make squares when I was a kid.
English

@megannn_lynne me trying to do this but can't remember the name of that specific body part for some reason and having to somehow google random words and find the word first.

@dude44484865030 read the manga of slam dunk and watch the anime of Ippo. I think Inoue's art should be appreciated. Ippo anime is better starting point as the og manga is very old and does this art shift suddenly.

@RealGameVault As a kid I'd pick 4 because goldeneye was so fun with friends. As an adult 3 because I think Prime and Mansion have aged very well compared to the others. I remember being amazed of Prime doing that goo on the visor immersion.

@samanthahenman how much would I be allowed to yap bout a white person trying to make a decent Banh mi? (im only kidding of course but I miss viet food a lot)
English

@Hideki_Naganuma I guess you could say you "understand understand understand understand...the concept of love". (not sure if I added the correct amount from the song)
English

@Criminalsimpson and no I did not make this myself, I just remembered this suddenly because of ADHD and ignoring my tasks as is tradition
English

@Criminalsimpson reminds me to re watch/listen to this again. Hope you'll post it so others enjoy it.

@wjneumire me thinking at first you were making a "wake me up before I go go reference". In all seriousness, Ive enjoyed discovering Hilda Hilst's work from Brasil. Ive always preferred brief poems that leave an impact.

@FeinIsSmelly Not sure if its been posted by skimming but ill post mine anyhow. "The Modern Leper" by Frightened Rabbit makes me sad. Its an allegorical song bout the singers alcoholism. He committed suicide a few years back

@hottakesanime Us lads love man with sword, brings us back to the days of using a random stick and poke it and glide it on stuff.

This genuinely might go down as the greatest aging tweet of all time
