What an amazing day, it was my first public talk after a very long break.
I was so stressed I couldn't sleep at night but I believe it turned out pretty good 😁 Got a lot of great questions and very motivating feedback, then I spent most of the day talking to different people about data processing and ETLs in general. Thank you to all participants for amazing atmosphere and great networking.
Also huge thanks to @PHPersPL organizers, it was amazing as always!!! 🥰

If you're going to inject a service or whatever in your controller's constructor and use it only in one method, then you may as well just inject that service in the specific controller method 🤷♂️

PSR-20 Clock. The clock interface defines the most basic operations to read the current time and date from the clock. It MUST return the time as a \DateTimeImmutable. #php#psr#coding
Why I love #EventStorming? Communication!
Customer service: on this event user is on stage 7
Dev: what stages you’re taking about?
CS: I work here 8 years and we’re using stages for users all the time.
Dev manager: I work here for 6 years and it’s the first time I hear about it.
There will me storm… I’m facilitating another Event Storming session and I’m always feel the same excitement. Another domain to explore, another team to connect. #EventStorming
I started a Substack, and it'd be a privilege to show up in your inbox every couple weeks. I hope to talk about the hard parts of building software and software teams: annagoodman.substack.com/p/coming-soon
