We agree: this directive clearly violates Article VI, Section 9 of our Collective Bargaining Agreement. Today, FOP Lodge 34 filed a formal dispute/grievance under Article XVII to defend your rights and restore proper court OT compensation

FOP 34 has successfully concluded negotiations and reached a tentative collective bargaining agreement—despite the state's ongoing financial challenges. Our Team made every effort to secure the best possible terms for our membership, and as a result, we've taken a meaningful step in addressing the long-standing pay disparity we have faced when compared to other State Law Enforcement . More details, special meetings, and ratification vote will follow shortly

Bargaining Unit Members — today is it: our LAST scheduled negotiation session before the year-end deadline. We’ve been patient. We’ve been professional. Now it’s time to bring it home. We cannot accept less than the fair deal our brothers and sisters in state law enforcement already were given. Our members deserve fair and equal treatment.

Our Prayers are with our brothers and sisters of the Delaware State police. A horribly tragic event just before the Holidays.

Members, We're sorry to report that today's scheduled collective bargaining session has been canceled. Despite our negotiating team being fully prepared, the State informed us they remain unprepared to respond to our fair wage counter-proposal—making productive negotiations impossible. Rather than waste members' time and money on a meeting with zero potential for progress, the FOP chose to cancel. With the contract deadline fast approaching, these continued delays by the State are counterproductive and frustrating. Our members deserve a fair offer that brings parity with surrounding state police agencies. We remain fully committed to fighting for the contract you've earned.
