@AniTVOfficial Don't watch it guys, I've read around 80-90 chapters even after it didn't have anything interesting. It's just a typical average system manhwa/ anime that you'll get sick watching it over and over. No outside world only fight, fight, fight no chill moment, no nature... Nothing.

@NSC_108160 One of the reasons why I like LOTM is because it has no romance. Its refreshing to see a really good story succeed without a romance element. And Klein was a complex character going through and dealing with a lot of complicated things. Romance was the last thing on his mind tbh

And to say that a story feels “incomplete” without romance? Just say that you’re projecting and did not actually enjoy the story for the story but for the level of daydreaming you can get by self-inserting yourself into the main character
Louthi 娄李@NSC_108160

Romance would never work in LOTM with Klein as a main character because that man is overly conscious and need to be so controlling over every aspect of his life that he ACTIVELY makes a decision to not be close with anyone and this is a whole plot point of the book

@LOTM_WORLD Other authors: 'after the monster was defeated, the hero lived happily ever after'✍️ Cuttlefish: 'after the monster was defeated, the hero died tragically due to suffering corruption from the monster's mythical creature form. Yes, this is a logical and reasonable development'✍️

Cuttlefish: I never thought I needed to choose a very formal or serious name, because I didn’t expect to achieve anything particularly remarkable in this field in the first place. Whether praise, criticism, or insults—I’ve seen a lot of them. But what I find hardest to accept is being accused of repeating myself. If a novel is good, then each novel is its own world. I believe that anything capable of moving me must be logical. Whether it brings enjoyment or emotional impact, the reader will naturally immerse themselves in it. I think the difference between my works and others may lie in “delivering enjoyment in a logical way.” When you fully rationalize the story and build a world that feels realistic enough, its impact may be deeper than works that are less logically consistent. Perhaps it’s because I’ve been someone who values logic since childhood. Many novels may have beautiful writing, but they fail to move me because their logic is often weak, or their emotions feel too abrupt and ungrounded. So when I started writing, I felt that anything capable of moving me had to be inherently reasonable. Studying computer science has been one of the best things for me, because computing itself is a process of building a world, and programming is highly logical. This has greatly helped me later in constructing world-building and planning storylines. The Cthulhu Mythos is a relatively modern Western mythological system with just over a hundred years of history. It was created by the science fiction writer H. P. Lovecraft. Its core idea expresses the insignificance of humanity in contrast to the vastness of the universe. After encountering it, I found it very interesting. Although humans fear the unknown, their courage is the torch that drives them forward. With this mindset, I built that world. As for the next step, I’m thinking of writing something that leans toward fantasy with a wuxia style. I grew up reading wuxia novels, and I want to take advantage of the time I still have the ability to write to try something in that direction.

Cuttlefish (the author of Lord of Mysteries) reveals new insights for the first time about planning a novel like a AAA game project! Before writing “Lord of Mysteries,” CF spent nearly half a year studying extensive works such as “A Study of Marriage and Family Life of the Victorian Middle Class” and “London: A History.” He didn’t just read, he calculated details like “how many shops are on a street, how many hours workers labor each day, and what proportion of their wages goes to expenses,” while also constructing a meticulous and coherent world system. He said, “Web novels need to be satisfying in a logical way. When events happen logically, readers can resonate with them to the greatest extent.”

Reread Lord of Mysteries volume 8 Fool ✅ Rating - 9.7/10 Pros - the beginning with the coins is very wholesome in my opinion and I also love the ending/epilogue. The rest of the volume in the middle was very very intense and relentless and didn't let up until the last moment. It's honestly the best way to end the series The central theme that has been for a few volumes now is the dichotomy between divinity and humanity and a synchronised approach at how divinity can be described as a collection of humanity, going back to the "I" Chapter from previous volume. The end also has some touching moments regarding this and it wraps up klein's story so well. Definitely an all time favorite character of mine. The events that happened in this volume themselves are the series at it best. Fool's Gambit is the one of the best fights in fiction and by far the most creative one. Cons - this volume is very short. Overall my rating of this volume is 9.7/10 #LOTM #LordofMysteries
