@mdletshejhb Maybe in 1950 when they were poor and trying to uplift each other. Business is all about maximising profit for shareholders and oligopolies are all about extracting consumer surplus. Only a fool would charge people able to pay more less.

My neighbours are Afrikaans and they always invite me over. Never been. But also, they asked how much I pay for my place which translates to how are you able to afford it alone? The trauma when they speak or braai on their balcony. Apartheid left so much trauma, bruh!
