Well, if your take is "Mazzulla never makes adjustments" or "the Celts never change their playstyle" then those are not legit criticisms, they are just talk radio talking points that are not supported by what actually happened in the games they lost For example, all you hear is how the playstyle is why they lost to MIA...when in reality in Game 1 they took just 29 3PA and had 62 points in the paint, and got killed because of MIA's 3pt shooting and BOS's TOs You then heard it was why they jsut lost to PHI...when in Game 5 they went 1-14 on 2s in the 4th quarter and in games 5-7 were under 34% in the paint while also missing 7-9 FTs and in all 4 of their losses a higher percentage of their shots were 2s There are MANY factors that have gone into the Celts poor playoff losses, yet the only thing you talk about is 3s. That is my point

@StoolGreenie Would you stop with the gaslighting and being purposely obtuse to this? The playoff approach was totally different from the regular season. In round 1, they lead the playoffs in 3PA and averaged SEVEN more attempts than the second place team. The approach needs to change.

I still find this to be pretty confusing because the 2025-26 Celts offensive approach was plenty different from their previous 2 seasons WAY more midrange, fewer 3s per game, completely went away from post ups given their roster change, much more guard-initiated offense, less isolation frequency etc This idea that Mazzulla doesn't change things to fit the roster he currently has is just not really supported by how they play Even in games, in Game 5's 4th quarter where they entered up 1, 14 of their 22 total FGA were 2s! (they went 1-14). In ALL 4 of their playoff losses, they took a higher percentage of their FGA from 2 than from 3. In their 3 wins, the percentage of 2pt FGA was lower and 3s higher

Spurs really coulda used a Jaylen Brown type player in this series to pair w/ Wemby. AND, they appear to have a De'Aaron Fox problem w/ his extension about to kick in. Can you pry away Harper by swapping Brown & Fox? Would Spurs consider? I'm gonna try to speak it into existence.

For the record, had the NBA (correctly) retroactively assessed Wemby a Flagrant 1 for the Brunson play, he wouldn’t have been suspended! There would’ve been no penalty! It simply would mean his margin of error on questionable BS would be gone for Games 4-6. Totally reasonable!
