9. Academic Prudence, Intelligence and Proficiency are hinged on Academic Integrity. That is why we stand for it in our academic pursuit and for our academic process. Again, it is the way to realise true academic progress!

8. He is stuck as far as true academic progress is concerned, because he has violated the academic process. To his great disadvantage.

So, the compromiser of academic integrity has only shot himself in the leg, because he won't go on from there to become academically prudent, intelligent and proficient.

6. He may continue to cheat to pass, but he is only cheating himself all the way, because you can't cheat the academic process, or any process at all, you can only cheat yourself out of the process.

5. Well, he still calls himself a student, but he is no longer a learner. He claims he is getting ahead with his education, but he is becoming more mentally lazy about his studies. And his attitude to learning shows it.

4. Once that progress is truncated, learning becomes difficult, a real drag for the one that has compromised its integrity. Why? The derailed is off course academically, not able to cope with academic demands.

3. Why is Academic Integrity so crucial to one's academic pursuit? The pursuit itself is a process, which one must cooperate with. Failure to cooperate with the academic process will lead to derailment, and once there is that derailment, true academic progress is stalled.

2. It is Academic Integrity, the ethical standards and values that guide academic work, ensuring honesty, trust, fairness, respect, and responsibility in learning, teaching and research.

It is one of the four cardinals of academic pursuit, without which the other three, Academic Prudence, Academic Intelligence and Academic Proficiency, can thrive.
