Idk the guy. Might be great. But this doesn’t appear much effort was put into an actual search. It’s disheartening.

Ihope they did a full search & he was the best candidate I have explored WBB jobs and been told by other coaches if I dont have wbb experience I shouldn’t apply but I love to coachPeriod. Plenty of wbb coaches would be great MBB coaches

@1frm_sanantonio @brianmccormick If that’s even remotely close to the reason, shows you all you need to know about investment in the program. 🤷🏽♀️ it would never happen the other way around and there are plenty of good, qualified coaches who have been in the profession, on the women’s side, to pick from.

Utah State officials and the team have been notified of Jerrod Calhoun’s departure to Cincinnati, per ESPN sources. Per his contract, Utah State will be owed nearly $3.9 million, which the school plans to use for potential candidates and the NIL pool for next year.
