On this day 41 years ago, 54 Bradford City supporters and two Lincoln City supporters went to a football match and never returned home. We will never forget those who sadly lost their lives, and as always, our thoughts are with their families and the hundreds still affected by the disaster to this day. You’ll understand my shock that a controversial VAR decision went in favour of Arsenal winning the title and Spurs surviving relegation. I’d quite happily never see my club play in this good awful league again. VAR has killed it.

@WilliamPh766 @PaulFreeth14136 Absolutely no issue with any opinion - always welcome the debate. I would suggest that is more likely the start of our real troubles. As you say, the timing stinks. Appears to be a cover up of the financials, which is particularly unfair on Parker.

@WilliamPh766 @PaulFreeth14136 I completely agree with you. I think we ended up seeing people committing to two ends of the extreme with Parker. Did he have faults? Sure. Was it all his fault? Definitely not. Had it run its course? Probably. Will we regret it? That’s the great debate.

@PaulFreeth14136 Pace kept Parker in post until after the City for 2 reasons. 1) Cheaper to sack him as we’d been relegated 2) Parker was taking the brunt of the criticism instead of Pace himself. Some fans will give SP zero credit as they never liked or wanted him.
