coming from the midest of mid working parents, dari sd-smp-sma ga "dikenalin" skills lain cause they expect me only to be the same worker like them. jadi cuma tau jalur sekolah, kuliah yang bener, terus kerja sampai pensiun. i dont know what 2 do with my life

Di tengah kondisi begini, saya kepikiran gimana ya mengarahkan anak yang lahir dari kalangan menengah kebawah agar besarnya survive dan naik taraf hidupnya. Saya kepikiran, 1. wajib sekolah yang bener sampe level SMA/SMK, untuk bekal daya nalar dan analisa berpikir. 2. Sejak SD atau SMP fokus mengasah skill lain. Bisa bahasa Inggris/Jepang/Korea atau video editing atau menggambar. Harapannya skill tersebut bisa dipelajari secara otodidak dari berbagai sumber yang tersedia di Internet. Setelah lulus SMA, tergantung minat, kalo ada kesempatan bisa lanjut sekolah. Kalo engga, bisa apply kerja migran di luar negri sambil nabung, sekolah lanjutan dsb. Atau kerja berbasis skill seperti video editing, clipper, jualan hasil gambar digital, dsb. Atau bisa terjun bisnis kalo ada bakat dan modalnya. Mungkin ada yang udah pengalaman dan sukses bisa memberikan tipsnya buat adik-adik atau para ortu yang struggle untuk memperbaiki taraf hidup anaknya?
