@kellimarks @beritk @marleysmom She was. She just received her doctoral degree from Louisiana Tech, where she worked. She will be missed by countless friends and colleagues. 💜

If you're in LR and have been on this app as long as I have, you probably knew @marleysmom. So sad to discover this morning that she lost her short battle with cancer.

@alimbrady @jgreghenderson @FrankScottJr @lrsd My son’s 1st grade teacher @RobertsElemLRSD gave them books and pillows while they all crowded together in a small bathroom. He wasn’t nervous because she kept them calm 💜

Big shout out to @FrankScottJr for a quick response on today’s emergency. Great work from LRFD, LRPD, MEMS, and national guard for responding rapidly. There is going to be a lot of work in the coming days, but Little Rock always comes together to help neighbors in need.

@fire11flyboy I feel really lucky because it was so so close to our neighborhood and schools. I have friends whose neighborhoods are essentially gone. Though I don’t know of any injuries 🙏🏼

@meaghanfikes It’s been hard being glued to the internet news from 350 miles away while this played out all day, damage reports are really scary. Glad you guys are ok.

We have been stuck on Markham for almost an hour. No stoplights working. No cars moving. My kids are in three separate places. Can’t count the number of ambulances that have driven past us. Little Rock has been hit so hard. #arwx

Took us about three hours to get from midtown to west Little Rock by Taylor Loop. Lots of destruction and damage. A lot of people will need help rebuilding their lives after this.
