Loaded my combine the other night, leaving Texas for Kansas! Once we made it through a month of rain the cutting in Texas was pretty decent (though extremely weedy)! Averaged about 30bu/ac (2t/ha) in dryland Hard Red Winter Wheat. Cutting wheat in Texas is a biggg 🪣 📝 ✅

⚠️IDEA⚠️ @JohnDeere we love the air conditioning and we really love the seat coolers in our combines (especially in this Texas heat!) but I think it’s time to level up and start making the waterbottle holders refrigerated (or heated I guess for coffee). That’s all. Thanks 🥂

@gdalbroi Mud scrapers have definitely come in handy in Texas! Not currently running the X9’s in Texas, but maybe later on up north!

Well its about half a year earlier than usual buuttt guess who started harvest the other day and is in the Queens chair this year?! A month ago I started my job in the US on a custom harvest crew and last week we officially started harvest in Texas! I’ll keep you posted 😉🇺🇸
