This Japanese developer worked a 12-hour shift in a Meta Quest 3 for $1,000 typing on an empty cafe table without touching a keyboard once.
He was sitting in a cafe in Shibuya with an empty wooden tabletop in front of him and a Meta Quest 3 on his head.
No laptop, no Bluetooth keyboard, no physical devices at all, just the Quest 3 and an empty table as an input surface.
In the April update Meta released a virtual keyboard: the IR cameras on the device track every finger at 90 fps, an ML model on Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 recognizes strikes on any flat surface and translates them into key presses without losing accuracy even when 1 finger overlaps another or the hands are crossed.
Calibration took just 1 action, place the palms flat on the table and wait 3 seconds. After that the system switched to active mode with the following configuration:
"hand tracking: continuous input surface: flat wooden table, 60x40 cm key layout: standard QWERTY, virtually projected finger occlusion: handled via predictive model pinch-to-scroll: enabled haptic feedback: none"
So the device knows exactly what surface it is working on and what it is tracking.
It knows where his fingertips are right now, it knows which finger is overlapping the one next to it, and it knows whether the next movement is a press, a scroll, or a gesture.
The guy typed without breaks, browsed Stack Overflow, opened documentation, responded to pull requests on GitHub, typed replies in Slack, wrote a long technical document in Google Docs, and all of it on a bare table.
Without tactile feedback, without clicks, without key resistance, recognition accuracy held all day.
Here is what the system actually logs during this work:
"hand tracking active, left index detected on surface, key 'a' triggered at coords (0.12, 0.43)"
"right thumb crossed over left index, predictive model resolved as 'space'"
"micro-scroll detected, vertical 4 mm displacement, browser scroll +2 px"
"task: api documentation update, 1,247 keys typed in 47 minutes"
On the table just an empty tabletop, a cup of coffee, and a Quest 3 on his face. No laptop nearby.
From what I have observed, this is the cleanest zero-device workflow I have seen in the past year: 12 hours of work, 0 physical key presses, $500 of hardware on his head, and an empty table.

@Atulsingh_asan Year 2024 was the best it had. What happened to it in 2025?
Bad❌ - Operating Profit% is coming down from past 6 qtrs
Good✅ - Reserves increasing
Good✅ - Borrowings less than 500Cr
Good✅- Promoter holding is > 64% but there is pledging
There is something else at play here?

@MarketScientist Wild hypothesis- The right point to enter would be when banking sector starts going south

@DhanCares The alert feature was a big value add earlier. The 250 free alert cap has significantly reduced its usefulness, which is quite disappointing.

@WeekendInvestng :( not sure what is the craze in people with burning 10s of thousands of money like this.
When did this transition happen from festival of lights to festival of who burns more crackers.

@ActusDei And also lack of sense of cleanliness.
There is not enough government support not is there any in the mind of people (education is not the reason)
English

@ActusDei India’s problem is population. We cannot just have few as they would not be enough. It would soon swell to large number which will make it unmanageable.
Or have all government sponsored setup but the price of those are unnecessarily exorbitant
