@GavinNewsom Why not start holding individual criminals accountable for their actions? Make the potential consequences of crime scary enough so people think twice before making stupid decisions. Criminals are being coddled right now with such lax enforcement of laws and easy bail.

@GavinNewsom This is the most nonsensical take you’ve posted publicly. If a hit and run driver kills someone, do we hold the car manufacturer accountable? If somebody gets stabbed by a knife do we go after the knife company? Hammers? Poisonous chemicals? Baseball bats?

Gun industry greed has fueled the gun violence epidemic. We are unveiling new tools to hold gun manufacturers accountable for the deaths their products cause. Nearly every industry is held liable when people are hurt or killed by their products - guns should be no different.
