@alzheimerssoc @Channel4 I agree going to be a hard watch, my mom has been living with dementia for 3 years, still at home but again rapidly deteriorating. Absolutely heartbreaking 💔. Very hard to get any support at the beginning, but now I am so grateful to our really supportive admiral nurse Carol.

As I sit here thinking about international women's day I think about my mom. As we struggle with a cruel disease of dementia and Alzheimer's she was an independent, inspirational lady. this disease changes things but she is still a very strong willed lady. It's heartbreaking 💔

My heart 💔 as I watch @BBCPanorama tonight about two potential drugs to slow down Alzheimer's. It's too late for my mom 😭. Such an awful disease, to watch a loved one forget who you are and all they want is their parents and to go back to their childhood home 😭 @DementiaUK
