@CH83Cable12 Its reversed actually you keep eating shitburgers and complaining and now youre mad somebody took the plate away and is giving you real angus beef patty on sesame seed bun with aioli
English

@mediumugly217 “I know you like hamburgers, so here’s some fetid dog shit on a hamburger bun”
“Gross”
“Hamburger lovers are never satisfied!”

@mediumugly217 @montyisontwt Just like you don't know Resident Evil. 😂
English

@DredgenShinobi See thats so lame to me that people just want to see a cosplay over an actually good movie lol
English

@mediumugly217 And just like the hundreds of other accounts saying this about RE fans, we never got a properly cared for adaptation like one piece got
English

@emeriticus Genuinely could not be a more respectable person right now for a project like this. Its crazy to see people write him off when theyre about to eat better than 99% of game fans
English

Cregger writes whatever he wants and studios pull up dump trucks filled with cash into his driveway. It’s very funny that chuds and whiny babies (redundant) think Cregger is just “using” the Resident Evil IP to make a generic zombie movie, as if the guy would be so desperate. It’s also clear he genuinely enjoys the franchise and is trying to implement key aspects of it into the film. It’s going to be great.

Resident Evil movie director Zach Cregger reveals a subtle item from the game that he got into the movie:
English

@05jake5 these people have no idea they’re statistically favored to be the first fans in history to get an actually great movie based on their shit.
They just want a best-looking cosplay they have no respect for good kino while complaining about movies not respecting source material
English

@mediumugly217 Zach Cregger did not make two of the most electric horror films this decade for people to act like this
English

@pizza_transcend Im genuinely in awe that you’d rather NOT see a cool ass auteur waste resources to make art about the game franchise he likes. And calling it a ‘fanfic’ as an insult is so funny cuz youre saying its worse that hes a fan of the games
English

@mediumugly217 So, is the experimental horror film the solution to a hostile audience? What is the REAL point of a Resident Evil film venture? Is the "RE world" really THAT absolutely teeming with wacky, creative stories to tell? This is absurd logic for an auteur like Cregger.
English

@pizza_transcend Arguably more difficult to win over a hostile audience by trying to turn their beloved source material into an experimental horror film
English

@mediumugly217 There's no way to know this because we haven't had an actual adaptation. I'm not really interested in directors using a massively popular IP in name only as a consequence-free playground for their fanfic or as a launchpad for easy marketing in hot pop culture buzz and relevance.
English

@s4pphirephoenix It sounds like people genuinely just want to see actors recreate the cutscenes so they know exactly what to expect every 30 seconds and mouth the words along with the movie
English

@mediumugly217 we’d be happy with an adaptation, that movie isn’t an adaptation, it’s fanfic
English

@FiorenzaMumu You are complaining that they cooked your steak wrong when you glanced at it from 20 yards away while its being walked over to ur table
English

@mediumugly217 Tourists getting pissed off at gamers getting angry at their game getting butchered in a movie adaptation. The fucking nerve of you
English

@AnbyArmpitsUwU @HenshinHarrison i really dont think people will question that and it doesnt undermine the legacy. Its iterative. Youre thinking about it like 9/11 and you should be thinking about it like Gotham City
English

@HenshinHarrison @mediumugly217 I mean I hear what you're saying but also - Raccoon City wasn't exactly small town. There's thousands of people that lived there that all could very well have had their own stories. What's so wrong about exploring that?
English

@HenshinHarrison Ok im curious how would you approach the plot for a standalone RE film? I dont rly understand what the fanbase wants
English

@mediumugly217 It only reached "the normies" because the fanbase was there and supported it. Absolutely
English

@HenshinHarrison And that is exactly what it boils down to. “Hmph, the book was actually better 😒” posturing but on an even less respectable level. You just feel like you have an authority over the title because you knew about it before the normies
English

@brazenbbb See idk ive just never seen a good live action adaptation/remake of something where they approached it as IP.
Id rather a genuinely good horror writer/horror direction approach it as a story prompt
English

@mediumugly217 RE has entirely 1 actual attempt at a live action adapatation (low budget), and there's been 30 other orginal projects with the Resident Evil IP slapped on it for name recognition. IP literally has no respect from people like you and Hollywood, no wonder fans are unhappy
English

@zedcutsinger theres a smaller vocal element of people who are openly doing the hipster snob thing but many are appreciating how good it looks. But i have a feeling the movies gna be an instant classic
English

@mediumugly217 I meant more that a lot of gamers are excited for Cregger’s RE movie. The box office will reflect this
